‘American Idol’ returns | How to watch, live stream, TV channel, time

American Idol returns for Season 19 tonight, February 14, at 8 p.m. ET / PT on ABC. You can also watch it on FuboTV (7 day free trial) and on Hulu + Live TV (free trial, regional restrictions apply).
Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan return as judges this season, and they will be holding auditions in Los Angeles, San Diego and Ojai, California. Ryan Seacrest is the host and Bobby Bones is the internal mentor. Tonight will present the first day of auditions to find the next American Idol.
Last season, quirky Harlem singer Just Sam won the American Idol title. She conquered the judges with her daring auditions, transforming her from subway performer to instant stardom.
Season 18 required a virtual competition, but this season the idols and judges are reunited in person once again.
