Freight Lines Group acquires the transport branch

Freight Lines Group (FLG) has acquired the defined operations of an independent transport operator located in the Deep South region of Western Australia.
Under the terms of the agreement, FLG will be responsible for the general transport arm of Denmark Transport.
The transition took place on Sunday March 27, 2022, with FLG increasing its services to the Greater Southern Region to accommodate the general freight operations that Denmark Transport previously provided, including the transport of coolers and freezers.
Denmark Transport will still carry out local floating and bulk work as Denmark Transport, as these operations are not part of the sale confirmed by FLG in a statement.
FLG currently operates several daily services to and from Albany and will expand these services to include Denmark.
FLG also currently offers on-demand services for Danish customers and said it plans to increase these services.
FLG has a large general freight yard in Albany where collect and pick-up services will continue to operate.
Denmark Transport’s head office is based in the coastal town from which it takes its name in the Deep South region of Western Australia.
Meanwhile, FLG has announced that it will be investing even more in its bulk fleet this year to help transport goods to Western Australia.
