How to participate in a client task in GTA Online: a beginner’s guide
GTA Online is an open world game where players can virtually do whatever they want. For some players, the game is all about making money so they can buy the latest vehicles, properties, and more. Participating in customer work in GTA Online is a good way to earn quick cash for these purposes.
For all new players, here’s a guide on how to participate in a Client Task in GTA Online.
A Guide to Client Jobs in GTA Online
Customer jobs were added to GTA Online in the After Hours update on August 14, 2018.
Client Jobs are a great way to get extra cash and RP in GTA Online with minimal effort. Players can start these jobs solo or in groups. Client jobs can only be triggered when players are in Free Mode.
Step 1: Get a Terrorbyte
There is a main prerequisite for starting client tasks, and to get started, players must first purchase a Terrorbyte.
The Terrorbyte in GTA Online primarily serves as the operations center for all eight types of businesses: Vehicle Freight, Special Freight, MC Club Businesses, Resupplies, Air Freight, and Paige Customer Jobs.
In order for players to purchase a Terrorbyte, they need to make sure they own a nightclub. Once they own a nightclub, they can go to the Warstock Cache & Carry website and purchase the vehicle for the base price of $ 1,375,000. While the fully upgraded version will cost $ 3,459,500, gamers only need the base model to start client tasks. Some client tasks require optional upgrades to be installed before they are available.
Step 2: Start client tasks
To start Client Tasks in GTA Online, players must enter their terrorbyte and use the truck’s touchscreen computer. Players can choose from six different client tasks to play from. Four of the six missions are tasks players can complete on their own, while the other two require a drone station upgrade for the Terrorbyte.
These client tasks are assigned to players by Paige Harris, a minor character in the story mode of GTA 5 and GTA Online. Players must wait 30 minutes to start the same job once it is completed. If players want to start another client task from the Terrorbyte right after completing a mission, they must wait five minutes.
Client tasks are great when done in conjunction with other VIP jobs like Headhunter and Hostile Takeover.
