Nominations open for the 2021 National Trucking Awards

Nominations for the National Trucking Industry Awards are now open, celebrating the inspiring achievements of Australia’s most engaged individuals and organizations in trucking.
Recognizing the professionalism and contribution of the industry, the National Trucking Industry Awards feature outstanding ambassadors and passionate contributors.
“Trucking plays a crucial role in the lives of all Australians and in our economy. This has been made particularly evident over the past 18 months in our COVID-19 response, ”said ATA President David Smith.
“Trucks supply every community and are connected to every industry, from construction to retail and agriculture. It is important that we recognize exceptional companies and individuals whose actions inspire others and have a positive impact. “
Applications are now open in the following categories:
- Exceptional contribution to the trucking industry
- National Trucking Industry Woman of the Year
- National Professional Pilot of the Year
- National Award for Excellence in Training
- Craig Roseneder Award for Technical and Maintenance Excellence
The national awards program will also crown the winners of the TruckSafe John Kelly Memorial Award, Don Watson Memorial Award and Castrol Vecton Industry Achievement Award – those selected from a range of exceptional individuals or organizations who do not need to nominate a application to be considered.
Smith said all winners will be announced at the ATA’s Trucking Australia conference, which will be held September 29 to October 1 in Gold Coast.
“Although traditionally a feature of the ATA Technology and Maintenance conference, this year we have made the decision to include the presentation of the Craig Roseneder and Castrol Vecton Industry Achievement awards at Trucking Australia to ensure that our finalists and winners receive full fanfare. and the recognition they deserve, ”Smith said.
“These awards are meant to celebrate those who work behind the scenes or go above and beyond to move Australia forward.
“I am sure we all know someone who deserves one of these awards, and I invite the entire industry to celebrate excellence by nominating someone great. “
