November 21 (THEWILL) – Nigerian logistics company Red Star Express Plc entered

in a partnership with Arik Air as General Sales Agent (GSA). The partnership was recently announced by Red Star Freight’s COO, Mudiaga Okumagba, at the company’s headquarters.

According to Okumagba, the partnership is expected to improve Red Star Express freight movement across Nigeria from any location and at any time of the day.

“We are pleased with this further achievement in the GSA space. This will have an impact on our efficiency and our service delivery to our clients. Having an integrated approach like this would help improve our service delivery across all of our business units and subsidiaries, ”he said.

For his part, the Director of Business Development and Freight (GSA), Mr. Adeyinka Adewumi, underlined that Red Star Express being the exclusive freight broker of Arik Air, is a considerable achievement. “Although we only recently started the GSA business, its growth has been unprecedented. We look forward to greater achievements ”.

According to Adewumi, Red Star Express has always wanted to play in this space, and it’s great to see the desire come true. “It has always been an ambition to become the first GSA in Africa,” he reiterated.
