Practice profile: Marisa Sotomayor has over a decade of experience representing banks, alternative and non-traditional lenders, private equity sponsors and institutional borrowers in a wide range of financing transactions across all sectors of the industry. She advises at all stages of corporate lending operations, from initial financing to restructurings and turnarounds, providing her clients with comprehensive ‘cradle to grave’ expertise. In addition to her experience in traditional financing, she has a niche practice advising lenders on syndicated loans in the area of power and energy projects.

Leadership, pro bono and civic work: Marisa is a leader within the firm and among her peers. Her active volunteer work includes advising impact investors and micro-philanthropic companies in corporate and finance.
