Trux achieves key growth milestones on the Contech platform

FRAMINGHAM, Mass .– (COMMERCIAL THREAD) – Trux â„¢, the leader in dump truck logistics technology, today announced that it has achieved 5 milestones. This follows revenue growth of 133% in 2020. So far this year, Trux has invested $ 96.9 million in trucking through its platform, which is 62.5% growth from during the same period in 2020, and saw a 17% year-over-year growth in the number of monthly active users on its SaaS platform.

Since its founding in 2015, Trux has provided key customers such as Vulcan Materials Company, Pavcon, Harness and US Pavement Services with the solutions they need to properly manage their fleets, deliveries and construction operations. The significant growth of Trux over the past year has resulted in 5 major growth milestones, including:

  • More than 30,000 licensed drivers on our platform

  • Over 4 million loads made via Trux

  • Over 165.5 million miles logged on the platform by Trux users

  • Serving more than 12,000 companies on the platform / ecosystem

  • 100k consolidated invoices

“We are delighted to see the traction the Trux platform has gained in such a short time,” said Bart Ronan, CEO of Trux. “From the start, our goal has always been to better serve the construction industry and meet a long-standing need for digital transformation. These metrics confirm that industry leaders see value in our product, and we look forward to continuing this momentum in the second half of the year.

Trux has also forged several partnerships this year to ensure its customers have full support for their toughest trucking problems. Notably, Trux recently partnered with REIN, a leading business insurance platform, to provide greater accessibility to fleet insurance, a growing problem in the industry.

Amid a growing truck driver shortage, Trux is well positioned to help fleet owners, drivers and construction leaders optimize their existing assets and processes. Trux has seen particular growth in its market in Florida this year and consistently strong performance in Virginia, Tennessee and Alabama. As a backlog of construction projects resulting from the pandemic materializes and talks for the new infrastructure bill gain momentum, the construction industry needs logistics management tools that can support the growth of their users.

According to John Carney of Harness, LLC, “Our business is growing rapidly. We have doubled our revenue over the past year and Trux has made it easy for us to manage more projects. The benefits of using Trux have had a domino effect on our business. We can manage 25 trucks quickly and remotely. It has helped us stay nimble and adapt during a difficult year. Another Trux client, Tommy Cobb, Project Manager at Pavcon, leveraged Trux to “allow my team to move from looking for trucks for our projects to looking for new business opportunities.” Project managers trust the Trux market when we need more carriers and can stay focused on our main task: growing our division. ”
