Paccar and Viaduct, a Silicon Valley tech company, have signed a multi-year agreement to harness connected data from Peterbilt and Kenworth. The collaboration will integrate Paccar’s telematics, diagnostic and repair data pipelines with Viaduct’s connected vehicle data and analysis platform.
Viaduct will deploy its data platform with Paccar to predict the health of individual vehicles and at the fleet level on Paccar trucks. Paccar can then use this information to improve vehicle availability for its customers.
Viaduct works directly with automotive suppliers to ingest data directly from their trucks. Through its platform, Viaduct uses machine learning on connected vehicle data to deliver AI-powered information and applications to OEMs, who can then use this information to improve quality, increase customer experience. and reduce downtime.

“Each OEM will be different in how they convey this information to the end user, but OEMs will typically use our platform to collect real predictive information that will save fleet owners and drivers a lot of time and money. money, ”said David Hallac, CEO of Viaduct.
“Our artificial intelligence can better predict which vehicles need to be serviced, so vehicle owners can avoid having to do inspections and service where they aren’t needed. ”
Paccar will also integrate with Viaduct’s Smart Campaigns app, which helps OEMs define, optimize and track their vehicle maintenance campaigns and, in some cases, help avoid recalls.
